Can you burn CD games to a DVD?

The ps2 SUCKS at reading cd games and im not sure how to burn cd games in the first place. I know how to burn DVD games but i was wondering if a game was originally a cd game (like Marvel vs capcom 2) could you burn it to a dvd?

Yes you can. You Dvd Scandisk lite and maybe some dummy files.
