Hi beatz2005,

The Trojan horse has become a common problem. It spreads quickly by pen drive. If your computer is infected by this virus you can?t open your drives correctly. Antivirus only removes the trojan or viruses but the infected autorun.inf file remains in the computer. Follow the instructions to remove the infected autorun.inf. Hope this will work for your pc

Easy way:
Just use the flash disinfector - > HERE!

Please remember to disable any AV / ScriptBlockers as they might detect Flash Disinfector to be malicious and block it. Hence, the failure in executing. You can enable them back after the cleaning process.

Or, Geek Way:

Manually remove by booting to safe mode with ?command prompt only?.

At the command prompt type:

cd c:\ {enter} or whatever your drive is C, D, E?.
attrib -h -s -a -r autorun.inf {enter}
del autorun.inf {enter}

Repeat for each of your drives.

To get out of the Safe Command mode press Ctr+Alt+Del Select Shut down on the top tool bar of Task Manager then select Restart.

Important: You will need to scan your whole system with an anti-virus too.

Update your AV go to the regular Safe Mode and do a full scan deleting anything your AV finds.

Plug in any flash drives you may have and use Flash Disinfector to clean them..

Next post, include a HijackThis Log and let us know what your AV found.
Also how are you running??

beatz2005,

Were you able to get into the Safe Mode??
Do you have a recovery partition on your main drive?
Do you have a recovery disk or a Operating System CD?

beatz2005,
Please:

When starting Safe mode use the arrows to select Safe Mode using command prompt.

Then:

At the command prompt type:

cd c:\ {enter} or whatever your drive is C, D, E?.
attrib -h -s -a -r autorun.inf {enter}
del autorun.inf {enter}

Repeat for each of your drives.

After that, see if it helps??
