Hi, i have searched these and many more forums to locate this problem and just cannot find it.
I have ripped my entire dvd collection to my HD and they are great quality with no problems what-so-ever.
However, i wanted to rip a dvd set of tv programmes i have. but when i rip an episode its video quality is fantastic, but a few seconds in and it "clicks" (for lack of a better word but that is the sound it makes like an audio glitch sound). the click is a jump in the audio and it occurs every 1 - 2 seconds from that point onwards.
If you continue to watch you will notice it is getting more and more out of sync, and each click (when heard during speech) can be heard to jump forwards in the audio, skipping words out, but imortantly the audio is BEHIND the video sync wise.
I truly have no idea what is causing this and i have never had it before.
Tech stuff: My computer is brand new and of a high spec so it isnt that.
I am using Pavtube DVD Ripper (best one ive found and no problems except this).
Divx is what im encoding to, bitrate is video 2500kbps and audio 192(dont know the units).
They are japanese dvds with english and japanese audio/subs.
I would like to point out, i am not wanting to change to a different program as i like this one and it is particularly easy to use.
Since you are not willing to switch to another program, there's probably not much help for you. The program you're using is not one of the best. Times will arise when you need to try different programs.
