I've got a slim on 3.90 m33-3, with pops 3.72 installed and enabled. I'm trying to play Vagrant Story, which is confirmed as a working title for the psp, and I'm running in to some problems. When I load from the current version of pops (Original from flash), I get to the game's first loading screen and it just loads forever. When I select 3.72 (the version of pops I have installed), the entire system freezes completely. I might be using pops wrong, but I'm relatively sure I installed it correctly. What am I doing wrong, and how can I play this game?
It could be that it doesn't work too well with either of those versions of POPS - I'm not entirely sure though.
My $0.02 - obtain a pack with all the different versions of POPS for the POPSLoader plugin and then try each one from 3.80 downwards and see how you go.
No probs - you'll find some games work best with different versions of POPS. You might even find you'll need two or more different versions to get through a whole game... sometimes it is a matter of trial and error.
I believe there is a list somewhere of the best versions of POPS to use with what PSX titles if you get stuck.
