My Nod32 just started giving me a Virtumond Warning and can't seem to delete it. It's attached it's self to winlogon. And on occasion my mozilla browser takes off on it's own but nothing ever loads in the page. Also when I start up I get the "failed to load swuhuepi.dll" error. I figured I better post b4 it gets too bad.

Running processes:

Hey travalon.

Your hijackthis log shows nothing, even though that doesn't mean that you aren't infected. Some variants of vundo have been known to avoid a process with the name "HijackThis" in it. Please rename HijackThis to something like scanner.exe, and then run it.

Have you tried booting into safe mode, and then scanning with Nod32? Please do that if you have not. Quarantine all found objects. Also, please run both Vundofix and Virtumundebegone, as they are specialized removal tools aimed towards vundo and virtumonde.

You say that it has attached itself to winlogon? Now that makes it easier. How did you know that? Does Nod32 detect the running process winlogon? Is there an option for "clean" in the detection window?

Now, please download Autoruns from Sysinternals, and under the winlogon tab, take a screenshot, and post it here.

Best Regards :D
