basically i want alot of funn games on my 4gb memory stik, so can you tell me some games i can download that are small in size, ive onlly got 1gb left on my ms so plz???
also i no i can compress files to cso but evry time i do it only takes about 100 mb off......
Use UMDGEN v4 to compress games. its best. and some small games @ cso (and something ripped? maybe):
Syphon Filter - Combat Ops ~45 mb (Only multiplayer in ad-hoc and infrastructure , but good in them)
Blokus portable ~20 mb
VERY ripped Gun:Showdown ~170 mb
FlatOut - Head On ~370 mb
SSX On Tour ~200 mb
Medal of Honor Heroes 1 ~200mb
Medal of Honor Heroes 2 ~370mb
Killzone:Liberation ~300 mb
lumines - 153mb cso worms: open warfare 2 - 163mb cso
street fighter alpha 3 - 97mb cso
ultimate ghost'n goblins - 313mb cso
crisis core: final fantasy vii UNDUB - 1.2gigs cso
metal gear solid: portops - 819mb cso
world series of poker - 292mb cso
none have ripkits; those are actual sizes after compressed with umdgen 4.0. all of those plus snes9xtyl, psptube, and a bunch of music, and still have around 250mb still free. all on my 4gig.
when i try to compress mercury with umdgen 4, it cums up seyin:
Error! Next Available LBA Position is 39 but LBA [\PSP_GAME\SYSDIR\UMD_DATE.BIN] position is 37.
Also, 'reducing' game sizes causes problems. Including, but not limited to: Slow Downs in loading, Lag, Missing Sound or other files, and un-expected crashing.
the most notable side effect to compressing to cso is a 1 second lag. crisis core is an ideal game to see this. you just have to mess with the compression level in umdgen to find the right balance.
some games might not boot at all in cso.
using ripkits is what can cause a lot of problems.
