We have built an actual application that allows you to find out if a specific movie is a DVD-5 (==less than 4.36GB -- can be copied directly to DVD-R) or DVD-9 (==more than 4.36GB, needs tweaking if you want to copy it to DVD-R).

We really, REALLY, _REALLY_ would like to see all of you contributing to this tool -- if you have copied a DVD movie into DVD-R, please use the tool and add your comments for that movie and tell rest of us how you did it!
