When inserting DVD, PC reboots

Whenever I insert a DVD in my Sony DRU510A, my PC reboots. I recently updated my BIOS, firmware from 1.0d to 1.0f. I can boot to Safe Mode and the problem does not exist. I have stopped certian software(Norton Anti-Virus, Sygate Firewall, etc.) from running in the background. The problem still occurs. I can insert a DVD at times and watch the whole movie, then I can take it out and put it right back in and the PC will reboot. Can anyone help me out with this problem. TIA
