NetHostFS Without IrShell?

I assume it's possible to run nethostfs without irshell, im just not sure how or which homebrew i need. it would be greatly appreciated if someone could give me some help. i can figure out most myself as im fairly good with these things but i need to find an application that runs through nethostfs.
