Not much info on Pioneer site just that its the first drive to burn 8x dvd+ and -

Yes,

I just purchased the DVR-107d from Avlogic for $145 but i am having trouble with the unit. I installed it and the Pc recognizes the drive but it won't read any disk I put into the unit. Is anyone else having this same experience with this or any other burner?
