hello everyone..i have a modded ps2 ( " fat version" ). i have dms4 pro installed, running on toxic os .41 and a 120gb seagate harddrive, everything been fine for the 2 years i had this system,but a few days ago i decided to add on a few games, so i attached the harddrive to my pc and transfered some iso's.( cant copy games directly from the ps2dvd drive anymore, did that to much and now the lens is burned). once again everything was fine. My friend come over later that same night with a brand new game he just bought ( guilty gear accent)so i backed it up, once again attached the harddrive to the pc, and the harddrive started smoking..literally there was smoking coming out of the harddrive..i ordered a replacement (Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3160815A 160GB 7200 RPM IDE Ultra ATA100 Hard Drive) , the old harddrive was a seagate barracuda st3160023a, the new harddrive was much slimmer. As soon as i get it, i install it into my pc and load up
winhiip 1.7.6, i select the drive and get a message saying " harddrive does not have a master boot file/record: dont remember exactly, so i format the hd through winhiip, and install the iso, i put the harddrive back into my ps2 and the system/toxic os is not recognizing the harddrive, what am i supposed to do, i tried everything i can, if you have any info please share, thanks in advance..
