well i have an old laptop
64MB RAM XD 3.5GB of hard drive lol

well i formated the laptop and installed windows 98 se

i have a Wireless PC card

works but i cant make the client manager of this PC card work

its a Buffalo AirStation Notebook adapter WLI-CB-G545

well the thing is that i need IE 5.5 or newer version to make the client manager works
this thing has 5.0 but i cant install 5.5 because i need internet!!
but i cant connect to the internet (thats the reason i bought the wireless card -__- to connect..)

i need to know if there is a way to upgrade my IE without using internet and my client manager works so i can connect to the internet :)

Wireless drivers are installed..

the Client Manager says that wont work unless i have IE 5.5 or higher version

it installs but does not open

mm nope

didnt work i already tried that

by copying my internet explorer folder in to my usb and put it on the other laptop

didnt work D:

and somehow i messed up my IE here D:
and doesnt want to work and the firefox i installed an update and now it doesnt work either (right now im usin Ares web browser lol) well... thats another story...

i tried everything and doesnt run :(

casn't copy the ie folder from 1 pc to another as not getting all files needed for ie to work. how big is your usb flash drive's capacity? try this link. http://browsers.evolt.org/?ie/32bit/5.5
what windows are you using to post here?

You'll need windows 6.0 (yes it will run in win 98)if you want to be able to download updates from microsoft,it won't work with win 5.0,not sure about 5.5 tho

EDIT:If you've already installed 5.5 & you get error messages when attempting to update win 98, installing win 6.0 will solve this

i have 2 laptops xD im using the one with XP the other one is Windows 98 SE (old laptop xD)

my usb is 1GB xD
