Even if its not a hijacker is there stuff that can be removed to speed up my computer?

Hey smith.

Three things: You need to update HijackThis, Windows Service Pack, and AVG 7. However, the update of AVG 7 to 8 may cause your system to slow down as AVG 8 has been known to be a resource hog.

There's nothing suspicious in your HijackThis log that I can see except for the presence of Big Fish Games Toolbar, which some people would claim to be malware. However, you must note that HijackThis logs do not reveal all infections, and you may be infected even though your log is clean.

To scan for malware, I first recommend Superantispyware Free, which will serve to scan for the major malware. You should quarantine all detected items. After that, I suggest A-squared Free, but you should not remove anything; only post the log here.

To speed up your computer, there are many many many reasons why a computer can be slow. Some of the most basic stuff include disk cleaning, registry cleaning, and defragmentation.
