My desktop has colored streakson the screen. sometimes its small and sometimes it covers the whole screen they have a small slight pulse to it. does anyone have any idea how to fix this.

what kind of monitor do you have? but most likely your going to have to purchase a new PC monitor

well its not the monitor. its omething to do wih the PC. the lines go vertically and sometimes horizontally. ive seen every color from red to pink. when i wiggle my graphics card it changes the lines and sometimes goes away.

Could be the graphics card or the connection at the card or the monitor. Maybe wanna check the connections and get the latest drivers if you don't have them already.

You shouldn't be able to wiggle your graphics card - is it not secured properly?

here is an update. it seems to work fine until i have to load soemthing. anything from wordpad to videogames. i loaded my video game and it looked like the main screen of the game was in a kalidascope. i have installed my drviers for my ehternet like i said in my other post and it seems to be working at the moment. ill let you know more when i try to run a game. ok the game screen (world of warcraft. the log on screen if yo know it) loaded fine. perfect colors until i moved my mouse. soon as i did that it kalidascoped. it still does it on its on, just the mouse sometimes creates more lines. the lines on my screen are somehow linked when i move the mouse also. could it be the memory? or video card?

it does it when window media player is playing but barely in full screen or normal screen. the visualizations run alot slower and look laggy than normal though.
