I'm a newbie and am desperately needed solutions to resolve these:
I've been looking through forum but failed to find a solution to my prob so decided to start this thread
I have used Nero vision to crate dvd in the past and it could be played in wmp11 and nero showtime.
however things have been playing up lately
I've create dvd from 4 mpeg2 files, these files played fine in both media player mentioned above but they failed to play the dvd i created with nero showtime saying "Internal error. Cannot build graph. The application may be installed incorrectly". I also tried to play the dvd (nrg image, i usually check them before burning them onto dvd) with powerDvd and powerDVD just crashed. I then tried create dvd using TMPGenc authoring with DIVX and again the iso file created could not be played by the 3 media player mentioned earlier.
Is it due to codec/encoder/decoder? I've downloaded microsoft decoder compatible with wmp11 and cyberlink is one of them which i already have on my comp to play mpeg2 files. Other codecs i have installed windows xp, ffdshow, haali splitter and mkvgui to player mkv files and convert them to mpeg2.
Please advice how to get around this.
