First of all I just joined and am glad to be part of the community :)

but more importantly my problem...

I read everything in chunkhead softmod thread but I couldn't find anyhting about my problem.

Ok heres what happened:

I wanted to make XBMC my default dashboard so I followed a guide form these fourms but I messed up the defualt.xbe file and when I booted the xbox no dashboard came up.

so i put in my AID 4.20 DVD and formated the drive and installed Evolutionx again and set up the drives and emulators etc.

but now when i boot my xbox the only things that are on the dahsoard are luanch dvd and settings.

I downloaded a new evox.ini from chunkhead and replaced the other one that was on my xbox.

( Also I should note for some reason I can't ftp to the xbox through the main dash but i can still access the xbox through ftp with XBMC. )

I can access XBMC if I put in the AID DVD and go to file manger and go to E: / apps / XMC and select the default.xbe from there to will boot.

so if someone knows what to do please respond.

I know I can always uninstall the softmod and reinstall but I'd rather not do that if possible. Because my friend is the one with the stuff and I'd have to get him when hes not busy and it would be a lot easier for me if we could figure out the problem.

Also: is it possible to uninstall the softmod wile the AID DVD is running then reinstall it wile it's sill running or will it make you re boot?
