Radeon X1270 multiple monitor display problem

Hi, for some reason i can't extend my desktop to the other monitor, i was able to do it since i got the inspiron 1521 but all of the sudden it won't let me use the other monitor.

There are no error messages either, as soon as i hit "apply" the screen flashes and the monitor labeled "2" goes back to the faded color indicating it is not "attached"

Any info would be great thx!

possibly a bad cable, monitor or lastly a bad card. Also see if there are any firmware updates that can be applied to the card to see if maybe that will fix the issue.
