Could someone please clarify the homebrew location?

Hi,

I'm running CFW 3.03 in 3.03 Kernel Mode.

I was of the understanding that if you are running in 3.03 kernel mode then GAME is for 3.03 homebrew and GAME150 is for 1.50 homebrew. If you are running in 1.50 kernel mode then GAME is for 1.50 homebrew and GAME303 is for 3.03 homebrew.

The trouble is I've yet to find anything that works in the GAME folder. I always have to copy it to the GAME150 folder. This was compounded when I went to the DGEN download page Here and downloaded the the emu (NOT the one that says 'for PSP 1.50'). It still required me to put it in the GAME150 folder to get it to work!

If that is the case then what is the ' Ver 1.70 (for PSP 1.50)' version for on his homepage?

If someone could clear this up for me I would be most thankful. It's the last bit of info I need to be completely clear on PSP mod/homebrew.

Hi, perhaps ur kernal is kinda old. It needs a higher kernal to run it. Since 3.03 OE is kinda old.

So do you think that it's coincidence that the the non 1.50 version works in the GAME150 folder?

I always take the view to not upgrade firmware unless necessary just in case it all goes horribly wrong! ;)
