Just was wondering anyone knew what the deal is with this thing.I have one as a master on a machine running windows 2000 pro sp4. when it is set for DMA it can only burn data. When I try to make an audio cd it just hangs on the lead-in track. the light comes on and it speeds up but nothing happens. the only way to stop it is to restart the computer. This happens with not only nero but also recordnow and recordnow max. Hp gave me some crappy line about "nero conflicts...blah blah" but it doesn't. When the drive is set in PIO mode it makes 'em perfect. The only downside is in PIO it gives an error on the 98% of making a DVD in nero. So im extremely confused to say the least. If anyone has any ideas or knows whats up that would be great, cause HP is useless.

System specs:
athlon 750
390 mb ram
120gb hd
shuttle mainboard
and all aspi is installed
