I know this question has been asked again and again, but I have yet to find something that will work. Some posts say create your own ISO file, others say that all games must go in PSP file, others say to go in PSP file and create ISO file. I need clarification.

Where do I physically place an ISO or CSO file? If I place a eboot.pbp file in the GAME file of the PSP file, it plays perfectly. If I place an ISO or CSO file in there, I get "corrupt file" message.

I am using a slim with 3.90 M33-3 firmware

thanks

You should have had already an ISO folder if you formatted the MMS using the PSP.

Yes, I already have an "ISO" folder. See below:

ISO
MP_ROOT
MUSIC
PICTURE
PSP
VIDEO

This is what is in the root of my memory stick(if we are using the term to mean point of origin-not a specific folder). I have tried placing the games in the "ISO" file, I have tried creating an "ISO" file in PSP, I have tried placing the game directly in the root system (not a specific folder), but at the end of the day, all result in "corrupt file" message. If you haven't figured it out by my minimal posts, I'm a very newbie. Is there something I need to turn on or adjust anywhere in the menu (hacked firmware)? In the past I have successfully hacked my xbox and xbox 360 with no problems, so I'm not 100% retarded. Maybe I should re-flash the firmware and start over. It just doesn't make sense that my eboot.pbp files play perfectly.

thanks for the help guys!!

Just a question but are you placing your iso/cso files directly in the ISO folder or are you putting the iso's/cso's in a folder in the iso folder? also where did you get your iso what is it and how big is it?

I have tried both. Neither work. 708 MB. The games were ripped from UMD (lego star wars and lego indiana jones). The games that work are resident evil and one of the odd world games. I paid a guy off Craig's list $15 to flash hacked firmware (I didn't have pandora battery or time to make one). I took those 4 games and my psp and him. I guess I got what I paid for. He flashed my PSP and loaded my games on it. It's just that two of the four won't play.

well then the 2 iso's that dont work must have somehow become corrupted. try ripping them again then see if they work. btw what size memory stick do you have and where did you get it as you might have a corrupt ms.
