aiptek go-hd or a-hd?

although i didn't try hard to look for it i did not find any threads about this. so i'll start a new one (if there ever was one)

i have recently bought a aiptek go-hd camcorder. considering it was only 170 i believe i got my moneys worth. low light situations are a little better then what i expected. picture quality is great in descent lighted rooms.

my only problem with this camcorder is the zooming and focusing is louder then expected. but it is only noticeable in dead silent rooms and while watching the video during that silent moment.

also the video format is in .mov so unless you have a good editing software windows movie maker isn't gonna cut it.


the aiptek a-hd seems to be the more favorable camcorder compared to the go-hd (this is purely a assumption from reading the reivews of others) i believe they are both roughly the same camcorder except the a-hd does not have a optical zoom where as the go-hd does. but both do not have motion cancellation (or whatever you call that feature) so if you have shaky hands your movie will end up becoming a remake of cloverfield.

also i've heard that some of the go-hd where shipped defective each one having different defectiveness. and the a-hd was shipped with a battery that does not fit properly but could be easily fixed by putting tape on the battery to make it stick.


i like my go-hd but thats just my opinion without actually trying the a-hd.
