Ok, I'm having a hard time finding info on this, how do I get the cheats to work for this game??

the very first one says... "DONT GO INTO YOUR BEDROOM WH" and the rest is cut off..?

as for the cheats, I've enabled them, ive hit L+R+up+start in game.... but what is the trainer toolbar? how do I get it up?

also it lets you choose items for slot 1 and 2? how does that work, i've selected an item for each but i don't know where they are once im in the game?

any help would be great
