Dreambox 500s and Linksys WRT54GX router

I just bought this Dreambox and it's set up for cardsharing. It seems my Linksys WRT54GX router is causing my transmissions to lock up very frequently. I tried hooking up the dreambox directly to my ADSL modem and it works perfectly. So the problem is my router. Any help here would be greatly appreciated. Maybe the only solution is to get another router??
