Can you exchange Action Replay2 v.2.89 to new AR 2?

I bought Action Replay 2...the old one with v.2.89 or something lke that and a memory card and a bonus ps1 cheat disk (seems that works in slimline ps2...long time ago i cannot find the sales reciept..!!!!and box is gone too but i have old AR 2 disc, memory card to boot, and the bonus ps1 cheat disc,,....

Can you exchange for a new AR 2 because someone bought the old AR2 in amazon.com and said it doesn't work in slimline ps2 so Datel (maker) said they'll exchange if you HAVE the old sales reciept!!! i donot even have the old sales receipt and the box i threw away b/c it wore out (bought when it came out for 34.99!!!!)

Does anyone have the old ps2 AR2??????did you return it with new AR2????

and why does the included ps1 bonus disk(a ps2 disc) work in the slimline ps2???????????? (people with the old AR2 should know there a 16 mb memory card \, ps2 AR2 disc, and a bonus ps1 cheat disk!!!
