Alright, I'm on Linux HARDY, and I'm trying to get my PCSX2 EMU to work. I know I probably have to do some stuff in the terminal, but I can't find a guide anywhere. Can anyone assist me here, or point me in the right direction?

I just downloaded PCSX2, and I'm trying to get it to work. I can't figure out how to load any ISOs though. After messing around with it for a minute, I tried inserting an actual game in to my CDROM, but when ever I click RUN CD, or Execute, the emulator just disappears. Can anyone help me out here?

EDIT: Ok, I restarted my computer, and now when I click on run cd, I'm at least getting an error now that says "ZeroSPU2: Failed to initialize sound."

It should be in the repositories..

.iso files need to be in a quite specific format sometimes.. I rip to clone image using k3b which seems to work fine. For the sound you will have to look for the config file and tell it where your soundcard or driver is.

I'm not sure this emulator actually works for more than a couple of games.. but I stand to be corrected because I don't have any ps2 games or things.

The config shouldn't be much different from pcsx tho..

We can all understand annoying text speak, we just don't want it on our forums. Plus clean your spectacles, this is a Linux forum...
Sheesh.

Original question seems to have been answered.. i can't see any point in carrying this topic any further as the emulator doesn't run anything properly anyways..
