Okay so let me first start off by saying if this a dead horse issue please just remove this one.

Okay so I have been doing the PSP thang for a hot minute now, but I ran into a freaking brick wall that I can't seem to hop over even in searching the boards.

I use PSP Impayler to create PSX eboots, and I am using 3.90 M33-3, so far I got them to run native without the use of popsloader until I tried Legend of Legaia, it loads kinda, to a black screen and just chills, it's not locked up or anything, I can still quit. Can still dump it. but it is just a black screen, remade the eboot a few times and the same thing. Should I use popsloader or is this a weird issue?

I have FF VII
&
Wipeout XL

Running without the use of poploader.

Also as a side Qu, (I hate making multiple threads) do you know the image specs for background, icon images for the XMB?

Oh yeah I forgot to add these are not downloaded images these are all Rips from the original disks.

Been rocking the legit world for a bit.

And yes, I have re-ripped them a few times to make sure.

everything runs without error, until the trying to run it that is.

You will probably just need to install POPSLOADER...see THIS guide.
