So Ive been looking around the past few hours for a successful way to play burned games on my phat ps2 (unmodded) And I realize that you can use swap magic or a chip, but I know that there must be some other way to get my console to play burned games. Ive read a few things about using swapped disks, or a playstation 1 disk as an exploit, Im not sure, It would be great is someone could give me a really in dept analysis on how to play burned games on a phat ps2 without swap magic or a mod chip, thanks. (ps, i dont mind breaking the door of, stopping the disk when its spinnig, using a swap card, blocking sensors, ect, anything that works)
After you successfully get that going. You can then install the new Free_MCboot 1.4 and ESR 8 to play backups with disks patched with memento disk patcher
You then don't need to modify your PS2 in any way, or use the PS1 disk anymore.
