YAY another FFVII Problem

OK, i have read ALL the FFVII threads and none have anything to do with my problem. All was going well, I made it to Kalm and was in Cloud's little flash back and decided it was bed time and saved half-way through. I didn't play for a few days then decided to. I finished the Flash-Back and left Kalm, when I entered a random encouter there were crazy red lines everywhere and then the game locked and the PSP shut off. So I tried reloading the save, same thing. So i tried restarting the game. Same thing on the first fight off the train. I was running some eboots I got online, so i made my own to see if it wasthe copy. Same thing on my copies. So its not the eboots, and I didn't even touch the PSP between it working and not working. Any ideas?

Thats got to be a firmware problem you have then if you have downloaded the eboot and made an eboot from your own discs. I have played both games on PAL and NTSC and both work fine. What firmware are you using?

Ya its a firmware problem, apparently the swirl messes up on 3.90 m33, even though i managed to somehow play it all the way upto Kalm before it started glitching.
