I bought a m3 ds real and i need it to work on a japanese nintendo ds. Im not sure if there is an "english" and "japanese" version of the m3 ds real so im worried that it wont work on a japanese ds.

I prefer to use m3sakura, and ive tested an english version of m3sakura on a english nintendo ds, and it worked flawlessly.

Do I simply have to use a japanese version of m3sakura instead to be able to use the m3 ds real on a japanese ds? or is it not possible to do?

p.s. i dont have access to a japanese nintendo ds at this time, so i cant test if it works.

as far as i know the nintendo ds is multi region meaning they can play games from anywhere and also when you switch on the new ds it will give you a choice of languages including english . so you can set the new ds to english .

this is what i found on a quick search of google -

Major differences between US version and Japanese version DS consoles

Technically, the Japanese & US Nintendo DS? models are 100% identical. Both units can be switched to 6 languages (English, French, Italian, German, Spanish and Japanese), play Nintendo DS? and Gameboy? games from any region, support the same accessories and are even able to link up using the wireless communication mode.

The major differences between both models are:

Packing: The Japanese model ships in a very plain designed box compared to the rather colorful US box.
Manual: The Japanese model includes a Japanese manual compared to the English/French/Spanish manual included with the US model.
Box content: The Japanese model does not contain the Metroid Prime demo that is included with the US model.

you should have no probs at all using a English version m3ds real on a japanese nintendo ds that has been set to english language .

I have a similar problem, but exactly the other way around....

I bought the chinese version of M3DS Real by mistake. Is there any possibility to run this with European software or on a european console?

I already have a european version of M3 DS and both cards look the same. I copied the system files, but no effort: error: wrong language.
