Hey guys. Currently i am making backup copies of my dvd's using DVD Shrink to decrypt them and nero to burn them. I have 2 dvd drives, is there any programs that will allow me to burn straight from one to the other without the need to copy to HD first? Nero can do this but only with un-protected dvds.

Thanks in advance, timmy

you still need a TEMP folder on the hard drive to burn from! you have to take out the encryptions, then the need for compression (unless you use a DL disk) and then burn.

AnyDVD will take care of the decrypting in the background so you could use your favorite disk to disk software. Be aware though that the decrypting will likely be slower than the burning and you may have a buffer under run problem.

@olyteddy...... you would be right if you use AnyDVD in the background and then use ImgBurn to burn to disk that doesn't need compression or you are using a DL disk! But if you're using a DVD5 and your DVD that AnyDVD is decrypting needs compression.... then you will need hard disk space or RAM space to use as a TEMP folder to compress to, then burn to disk.
