God of War Beating Two Armor Knights

OK, I just started to play God of War. But I can't beat this one stage. I got to the stage where there are 2 big armored knights (I guess, I don't know what they are call) with big shields and they both floating on green smoke.

How the heck can I beat these guys? I tried the efeet magic crap, abd it tells me to press O repeatly for strong attack, but when I press O repeating, it seems that I am trying to grab something! What gives?

Any one knows how to beat these big dudes? I am about to quit the game cause I can't beat these two guys!

hey modster,

I have done this in god mode and the best way is to first parry using your shield (just b4 the attack hits you) and then immediately pressing triangle which is a kind of strong counter attack....this may take a few goes to perfect...good luck :)

OK, I tried that, but still can not beat these knights. What am I doing wrong? I hit them, I use strong counter attacks. It shows 8 hits, 7 hits...etc. But I keep on doing this and everything I do a string attack, the knights come back and hit me. How can I void being hit by them?

How long or how many times do I have to hit them? What's the hit count before they die? I am really getting tire of playing this stage. Might have to quit this awesome cause I can't beat the knights.

btw how can you play god mode?

The way i did it was to get rid of their shields (square,square,triangle combo). Then parry them (block b4 their attack hits you) then press triangle straight away (only once) and keep doing that until the circle comes above their head for the mini-game (this does take a while)...or you can try just using the square, square, triangle combo over and over again. Also try rolling and running away from them.

Dont quit the game it is good! You can play god mode when you start a new game but i would'nt because u have trouble in the mode u r in.

But when you say get rid of their shield, do you mean destroy the shield using square square triangle combo?

Yes that combo is the one, and if you do get stuck type "God of War : Chains of Olympus (USA) PSP" into youtube and there are videos of each part there (the ones from 8esferas are the best)
