ok, i have either a very annoying problem or a bad virus, it started when i was browsing th internet, with the opera browser, and if you press the minus key it will zoom out, so all of a sudden the picture just seemed to get really tiny. Then i opened up notepad and a big line of minus signs showed up like if you were to hold the key down, i unpluged my keybord and tryed another and it was still typing, even with no keybord, so i think that another program is just outputing a - when every there is a textbox or somewhere to type. heres the biggest problem, i restarted my computer to see if it would just go away on its own, but then when the computer turned back on i could not log on, cause my password is not ------------ ext....

Can you run hijackthis and paste your log file here? Are you sure a hotkey setting has not accidently been changed.
