Hello,

I need some help and advice, I had a brand new Nintendo DS come this weekend, which I bought from a well known UK Seller. Sadly after a day playing I went to charge the DS with my USB Charger, a Charger I had used with my other older DS White. It charged fine, but when I went to removed the Charger from its socket it seemed totally stuck. I had never heard of this problem happening and had never come accross the problem with my older DS. its totally stuck, I don't want to force it as its only a few days old and I've been looking on the web for advice, some people saying I should disemble it which I don't want to do and others saying I should contact the seller which I have, sadly they have been pretty reluctant to help. The Customer Service emailer stated that she didn't think it was a manufactuer issue and that if I wanted I could go down to a local store and they will take a look to fixing it. That would be fine but 1. I'm currently suffering bad from Arthritis so am unsure how I can make it down to a local store at this current time and 2. I don't see how they are going to get it out when I have tried endlessly.

So as you can expect I feel a little peed off, I have a issue with it not being Manufactual problem as I have been using this USB Charger for a good 4-5 months now without any problems in my White DS. So how come its suddenly getting stuck in the new one?

So I'm looking for some advice on what I should do? is there a trick to getting them out?

Thanks!

I have had this happen before, what I did was put gentle downward pressure at the end of the connector and then pulled it out. What happens is there is a catch which grabs hold of the connector and the downward pressure levers it off this catch. Afterwards it should be safe to reinsert the cable.

Don't why it happens the first time but it hasn't happened since.
