Ok, so my brother got a ps3, so he gave me his ps2 to watch movies in my room, but he doesn't remember the password he created to watch movies over a G rating. So, my question is:

Is there anyway I can change that password without knowing the original?

you can always make a backup copy of the dvd and you wont need a password

You have to press select to change the code, then put the code 7444 in to reset it. Sorry for not clarifying in first post.
This should work. Is this a fat or slim ps2?
