I just started using opera mini for the psp and it's great. Much faster than the psp browser. Just wondering if anyone else has had luck streaming video from m.youtube.com using this application.

Yes, you can use opera on the psp! I just found out yesterday myself. You need pspkvm, and the opera mini jar file. It is basically using java. Use pspkvm 0.40. I find it alot better than the psp browser, it is so much faster. Try it out and let me know what you think.

i see thats a good idea ill have to try it some time.

is it full screen?

and with youtube im not sure it that would work as its being emulated. i think it would work like psp tube on downloading a video and then playing it as you are downloading it but i dont think it would know where to download it to.

id just stick with psp tube for videos

doubt youtube will work since the flash player is embedded in the system firmware. you need psptube to watch youtube.

Yes opera is in full screen mode.

I took these using screen capture plugin. The thing I like most about opera is that it actually displays the pages properly and doesn't take ages to load. Overall, I wish that Sony would get rid of their browser and install this one instead. The psp is great it's just soo limited by Sony.
