Can we play PS2 USB backups online(PS2 USB Hard drive games boot method)

I have successfullt played games from the USB hard drive, but they dont run online. Any way how to do this?
Will the regular DNA$ code patching via winzip work? ie, First I patch the ISO with it's DNAS code, then I install it onto my USB HD via USB extreme, then play it.

Off Topic: I remember there being a website where there was a full PS2 usb compatibility game list. Can anyone link me to that?

if you don't trust my answer, then try it for yourself. you're not going to be able to play online without the game disc. it will fail the online test.
