hi all,
so i got this movie today which i would like to burn to my hard drive,it plays ok on dvd player but when i try to play it on computer i get "windows cannot read from disk" and a bit about about wrong media and that is there anyway round this.thanks.

yes mate always plays them ok just not this one. its on a maxell dvd+R disc.thanks for your time.

Most likely you have a bad burn there.
You can try giving it a good cleaning.

ok guys thanks so i took the disc to work(im on night shift) had ago on the work computer and it worked fine. found videots file clicked on it send to my docs it worked fine. so i now have the video ts file on work computer which is nogood at all because im not to use it(yes im bad). so does anyone no why ok on this one back nogood on mine. cheers.

was just going to back it up to a cd and take home but its to big a file, work pc does noy have a dvd burner on it.
