IRshell/nethost freezes on game exit

So I got nethost up and running on a fat psp with 3.90 Irshell, I dug around and found out about the file name problem with loading games, however it seems no matter what I do when I attempt to close a game (using the home button) it just sticks/freezes on the please wait screen.

Now I know that the PSP reboot fairly quickly so normally that wouldn't be a big deal. However I modded my one and only battery into a pandora so I have been booting on the power cord then switching in the battery, so when it hangs (again it does this everytime I exit a game from nethost) I have to take the battery out, go back to the cord...blah blah blah.

I did try searching the forums and google and didn't find an answer.
