I've searched everywhere for this answer.

I have a MC exploit with cogswap.. ntsc-u console, and ntsc-j game (sengoku basara x) how can I get this thing running? It usually just boots this game to a black screen.

forgot to add, im running on one of the older fat version ps2 models.

I could try the harddrive method out, but I haven't researched this option yet. So the question in further detail is: Using any combination of anything other then a retail copy of swapmagic dvd, is playing this japenese import possible.
