I want to purchase a DVD Recorder with a zoom feature that will completely take out the black bars (top and bottom) while watching a dvd movie. Can someone please tell me which DVD Recorder with a zoom feature is the best to purchase? What about a Philips DVD Recorder with the zoom feature, are they any good? A reply will be greatly appreciated.

Every player I've owned had a zoom feature. As far as recommendations Amazon and Circuit City usually have lots of customer reviews.
