Digivox XL Rebooting help!

Hi i am new to this forum and i need help with digivox XL rebooting every 10 mins or so. if anyone could help i would be very thankful.

I been reading this forum and it seems to be very helpfull so thanks to all that reply...

Hi i have got this file

DIGIVOX XL (bin file only use downloader10 to flash)NOT for Silver Digivox. Only for Digivox XL 17/04/08

digivoxxl_v1220_api.bin

Do you know if that is the latest update

Yes it is well ventalated..

Would it be cable sending signal down and the box just reboots to avoid detection or whatever or am i bieng silly. lol

all of those boxes have no talkback but it might be a cable issue as i have seen the previous box doing it.strange!

Hi, I have a digivox xl cable receiver. I uploaded the wrong firmare on2 it & when i am trying to re flash with the correct firmare it keeps saying failed. i have tryed downloading then switching the box on but still no joy. is there anywhere that repairs the boxes? or anything i could do to try and fix the box?

please help.

I must have tryed it about 100 times already and still no joy flashing.

i have tried several digivox xl firmware including the new firmware.

what are u trying to flash box with as there are only 2 firmwares out.also have u used this cable before ,yes and it worked?com port setting correct??

yes the cable works fine & setting on the computer are fine, i have flashed several boxes before.

was trying to flash with the update on nokias website, that is where we originally purchased the digivoxs but when i contacted them they said the boxes cannot be fixed.

starviews usually have caps problems which are available as a universal part in many different items that is why it is a cheap fix,flashing a box with wrong item probably does more damage to box,and uneconomical to repair,as in spend t00 much.
