Hi, I just finished installing a modchip into a ps2 (what a job!) anyways, it seems to works because I have a new logo at the booting of my PS2. Right now I don't know much anything about ps2 scene.
But I cannot find anything about booting games off usb without a swap magic disk; aka: with a modchip.
How do i do that? can i just burn USDadvance or something else to a CD (or DVD) boot and it make it load from the hdd?

Right u can burn it on cd and run it from there or start it as ...elf from usb but you`ll not have much fun with usbadvance the compatibility really sucks maybe 8% of games will work watch the list @ ps2hd.It`s no alternate to the hdd in the fat one

yeah I just realised that, took me a while to get the .elf on a CD working. Now no games boot, and the ps2 lens is really fucked up, the games takes forever to boot from CD. I think I might have a better chance with HDAdvance. Can i burn HD Advance or HD loader? and use a network adapter to plug my hard drive? Or is there any cheaper adapter then the network adapter?
thank you!
