Hi there. I have this really annoying problem on my PC. I just reformatted my computer and this error is still there. Yes, I did use google and have found answers that did not solve my problems, so here goes nothing...

When I double-click on D: (backup drive) I get the following message:
"Please go to the Control Panel to install and configure system components".

Can anyone please advise me?

Can you please post what operating system you are using the make and model of your drive.
