If not, is it possible to convert .pft themes to .ctf?

I'm running 4.01 M33-2

you cant run a ctf and then a ptf theme but you should be able to run a ptf or a ctf

just disable the cxmb plugin and choose the ptf theme

making sure that the ptf themes go into theme
