8g memory card patch

alright so i upgraded to 4.01m33 and thought to myself hey i should reformat my mem stick while i'm at it and clean up some files switch my 1.5 homebrew to 3.xx etc. so i back up all my files reformat only to find out that now my psp isn't reading my whole mem card. it's only reading 4g now when it says 7.7 available. now after chasin my tail for a number of hours i realized that i used that patch for the 8g so the psp can recognize it. then i tried to edit the files myself did everything correct to my knowledge still nothin. any suggestions?

okay so i did the patch still nothin is it supposed to be a executable program?

you have to install the 1.5 kernel addon for your psp to recognize the 8gb, that'll fix your problem bud
