Sounds like motion blur to me. What is the response time on your LCD?

is it all material you are viewing or just sports with the fast moving objects? A goodswipe says your refresh rate should be around 8ms. you can find this out in your manual if you have one still....?
If it really is a blurry picture for everything you watch, believe it or not, something as simple as the connections on the back of each piece of equipment used just hanging out a millimetre has been known to have thrown me before!! usually with s-video connectors more often than not....just a thought.... but you specifically mentioned watching sport, so i would agree that the refresh rate is the prob and there is no fix for that as far as im aware :(

hey there,
don't know how you got on, but i want to throw one more thing in teh ring to try if it is still a problem. It may be your refresh rate, as has been suggested.... but.... as i found today, my cable box- for some unknown reason- is on NTSC!! GOD knows why!! check you are PAL (thats if you are europe) in was watching the footy going "hello, something snot right here.... picture blurry and refresh rate seems off...." i checked my settings and my tv out was on NTSC. i changed back to PAL and hey presto! these boxes have lives of their own!!
