Ive succesfully download some movies from kazaa and as a complete novice in this game i am now stuck. How do i then transfer these files to a dvd? ive got a dvd rewriter and DVDCOPY Xpress which I do dvd back ups on, but ive never downloaded avi/mpeg files and then burned them a dvd - does anybody know of any easy guides or sites that will help me. cheers

I must recommend you encode them to svcd with either tmpgenc or cce (it's going to give you the same quality, and cd-r are much less expensive than dvdr.) Then you'll need Nero/VCDEasy/something to author them, then your favorite burn software to burn it at the slowest speed. There are several tutorials to be had on the site, and the forums are loaded with answers to all the common problems. If this is for a standalone DVD player, make sure it plays SVCD by checking the compatibility chart at http://www.dvdrhelp.com . You'll also need the proper codecs if you don't already have them: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/57072 .
