Removing motorola phone tools

Hey,
Motoropla phone tools seems to be causing me trouble installing a usb-serial device. A driver always seems to recognise it falsely as a Motorola Comp Modem, and doesnt allow me to install it correctly. I have uninstalled phone tools, and used various registry cleaners and searches to try and remove moto drivers etc associated with it. Does anyone have any ideas whats holding it back still or how to find/delete it??? (windows xp home sp2)
