192.168.0.24 thats the IP you are giving the dbox.
Do you think the logic network is the same?

but i have managed to get the screen to say reset its all about the timing!! of connecting the flash reset
but that has concluded that something is blocking the dbox because when reset comes up should flash and then bootfrom the ppcboot file and stay on, but its not.
i am not giving up on this going to stay with it until i have debuged this box!!!! lol

Be sure your dbox is really a nokia 2xintel BMon1.0. That procedure will kill every other dbox.
hi thanks, i have that already, yea it is 100% nokia 2x intel bmon1.0
i have uninstalled norton turned all firewall off allowed bootmanager through firewall, im using a usb to serial rs232, but i have tried with a direct null rs232 on a desk top still the same issue, its says in the manuel start bootmanager set it up done all that (dbox off at all these points) but bootmanager wont connect and get an error message when hit start with the box off, when its on it connects well the bootlog above ill post the error next

At the left upper side of the bootmanager is a drop down menu to select a network card.
Do you see there anything?

You have now to use the arrow up button and flash reset after seeing reset.
Its a timing problem. If you see the numbers at the lcd display you have 1 or 2 seconds for the flash reset.

once this is all done (debug) i have read about extracting ucodes once debug has complete, if i dont tv will not be viewable etc? can you confirm this and how its done as it does nt mention how to do that in the tuts just big red writing at the bottom of the tutorials, im assuming it is very important i do this ?

Forget the ucodes. Every UK modded image include all necessary things.
Your sequence is right.
The ppcboot get transfered to the dbox, the bootloader detects a non matching security checksum and is doing a reset.
You don't have to use the first reset for the button and flash reset.
You can use the fourth or fifth or any other after you are ready.
