Having trouble with an ISO - please help

I am new to burning PS2 games. I have an ISO of a game called Rez. I extracted the WinRAR file and got a file called Rez.iso.
DVD+R as an ISO at the slowest speed using Ashampoo - it didn't work.
PowerISO and the slowest speed onto a DVD+R - it didn't work.
Nero and the slowest setting onto a DVD-R and that still did not work.
PS2 just tries to read it and then goes to the memory card screen.

Rez is a PS2cd game. You should have used CD -R.
DVD only if you put a patch on it first.

You don't really need to look at a list , if a game is not under 750MB, it needs to be burned onto a DVD-R .

DVD-R . Anyway just use ImgBurn to burn backups. It will tell you what media you need to use.

Nero to burn at the slowest setting, is that okay?
DVD game onto DVD+R will it work on PS2 ?

You should be able to, but some PS2s run DVD+Rs better than others.
